Liz and Scott
West Point, New York
Right off the bat I knew they had great taste-they picked my birthday as their wedding date- and it only got better from there! They had a whirlwind romance, and at seven months Scott is down on one knee, and the wedding was set for 4 months later. We had to move fast.
Luckily, Liz had a vision. She wanted something elegant that would tie to the military theme of the wedding without looking like a tacky fourth of July BBQ. We took inspiration from the stripes in Scott's uniform and we created a custom family crest to grace the top of the invitation. When it came to choosing a color for the foil, Liz choose a beautiful rose-gold foil to tie into other details.
They wove their personality throughout the suite. The crossed sabers in the crest reflect Scott's service. They both have a deep love of cooking, reserving Sunday just for that purpose. Included in their invitation suite were two cards, one asking advice for the newlyweds and the other was a blank recipe card that guests could fill out with their favorite dishes. Thank you cards that matched their invitation rounded out their stunning suite.
