Logos and Branding

Branding is the development of perception, of recognition, of identification of the customer to the product [physical item, event, or service]. Branding can engender meaning and feeling, knowledge and loyalty. Brand encompasses everything [good and bad, true and false] about what a customer believes about a product. Brand development involves discovery, ideation, and creation.

  • Name It Who are you: your product, event, service
  • Name Them Who is your customer: age, gender, ethnicity, education, preferences
  • Name the Why Why does your customer need your product: how does it help them, make their life easier, more meaningful, or enjoyable
